Iray for 3ds Max offers light path expressions (LPE), allowing you to change the artistic styling or light intensity in your architectural product or render. Light path expressions are separately rendered in parallel with your main render, which means these can be added back in later to create the post production finish that you want. Whatever you’re rendering, being able to define the LPEs for objects and lights adds a new level of detail to components and objects, whether that is highlighting the intensity of reflections and refractions through a glass object or increasing brightness from a spotlight.
