    Default caustics and reflection of metal problem?

    hello, i'm not sure if this is correct rendering or not?

    in the first image, i have caustics enabled. the light is shinning through a frosted glass material sphere which has a shall modifier of 0.1inch outward shell.

    the second image shows the same scene with caustics disabled.

    the third image shows caustics enabled and the light moved up above the frosted glass sphere - edit, the light inside the frosted glass is turned off, this light was copied and moved up.

    the copper material on the sphere and the teapot are the same in the 1st and 2nd image... shouldn't the copper sphere and teapot be reflecting the brighter room walls and therefor be brighter - like on the 3rd image where the light lights up the room about the same as the first image?

    (edit, there is a linear light in the scene also but that has been turned off for all renders)

    I would like to learn that "Does Iray support Multi sub map" or still you guys did not solve it. I'm using max 2016 and Multi sub does not work with Iray.
