    Default iray + 1.8 and 3ds max 2019 cant find material textures?

    Hi i have an issue where iray + 1.8 and 3ds max 2019 cant find material textures? All materials are just white and i have to manually browse for each map in the material. Could someone please help?

    Hi,

    Sounds like you may not have added the folder(s) where the textures are stored to your external file paths. To do this:

    • Select "Customize" from the menu
    • Select the "Configure User Paths..." option from this menu
    • Select the "External Files" tab on the dialogue that pops up
    • Click "Add..." and navigate to the relevant folder or folders to add them

    I think you can safety ignore this error.
    This is related to Maya MDL materials.

    But aside from this, are you saying your textures are still not being found even after adding the path(s) to the external files?
