    Default Iray+ Material Emission templates

I want to edit/add Emission Templates.
    How can I do that?

    Any help/manual?

Edit - and want to use a Texture as Guide for Lightning/Emission.

    Thanks!

    Best!

From long time I can't get answers on my posts.

    Hi Nik,

I see that you found the emissive tint input.

Can you please describe what you mean by templates?

    Thanks,
    Jay

    Hi Jay,

In Emission you have 3 options:
    - Use Profile
    - Template (27WFluorescent, Candle, and so on)
    - Custom

I want to add or change those Templates.

    Best!

    Hi Nik,

The templates are built into Iray+ so they cannot be changed or modified. They are essentially just presets of Colour Temperature, Tint and Intensity. You can set all these manually by using the "Custom" option, but there is currently no way to save custom settings as a new template.

Emissive textures are not currently supported in the plugin, but this is something we can look at adding for a future release.

    Thank You Michael!

I really want and I think it will helps to other to have abillity to Save Custom Presets.

    Example - Red/Green/Yellow/Blue LED's and so on.

    Hi Nik,

At the moment you would just have to create, for example, your own "LED" material library and create them as full materials. Do other renderers allow you to create and save custom presets outside of creating material libraries in this way?
