    This is a simple test (HDRI lightning only) with one of our Low poly models of Washing Machines (very low poly).

    very nice nik,

    this is a good example must not always komplex lightning for good result !
    i love hdri light F i use only 1 hdri light on all my jewels renderings !

    Hi Nik, a lot of HDRI only lighting often gets a really soft feel, but you are getting crisp shadows! Very nice!

    For good shadows you need good HDRI's.

    Hey Bernd, thanks for sharing the color options...I think the first 2 seem the most believable to me...but, the more colorful ones tend to hide any noise that exist in the shadows. Really nice!

    Are you adding the background in post? The only reason I ask is there is a little bit of odd fringing (gray color) in the shadows of the second image on the bottom left. There seems to be some blurring on on the backplate around the jewelry...might just be my monitors too.

    The only reason I point this out, is because this is the only thing that makes me think it is not a photograph!! Good stuff!
